I have a crush on someone's boyfriend

Okay, saya ada crush kat boyfriend orang...nama dia, OKAY memang tak akan berlaku di sini lah. What I am trying to say is, this could happen to any girls. You likes this guy, then dapat tau dia someone's boyfriend. Kalau you rapat dengan dia macam mana pun,you tau you have to limit yourself,kan.

Apa lagi orang yang langsung tak dapat chance nak kenal crush dia.Tengok dari jauh saja. Satu hari kalau terserempak dengan crush, memang seronok, lepas itu dalam kepala selalu replay scene menarik tu. Then mula berangan "Kalau lah masa tu aku buat pula ...". Masa tu lah tiba-tiba otak jadi creative kan.

Memang best, tapi dia pula ada girlfriend. Selalunya kita akan macam " Kalau lah aku kenal dia sebelum that girl kenal dia. I wish I was there first".  Reality is, she was there first. Kita tak boleh deny yang kita memang jealous dengan dia tapi she's so lucky to have him. Ended up, kita admire that guy dari jauh saja. Memang seronok ada crush, buat kita happy hari-hari sebab looking forward terjumpa/bercakap dengan dia, macam hari-hari is summer, hari-hari happy. Except that, during this season, she's got a tan and we got  sunburn.

Tapi, I tak rasa you should give up, you should keep on saja having a crush (or a few,tak salah) sebab ada banyak benefits sebenarnya. Contohnya bila kita ada crush, ada hormon akan dilepaskan yang boleh membuatkan kita rasa seksi.Sekali gus buat kita confident. Kadang-kadang, seperti contoh yang I beri di atas, having a crush buat imaginasi kita berkembang pesat (hiih hii hiii). Tak salah nak ada crush, semua orang nak happy, kan?

i eats music

There are few good music that I've been listening to. Music is like good food to me, kadang-kadang bila dah suka satu lagu, mesti nak dengar saja bila tak buat apa-apa. macam addicted pun ada. baru-baru ni I suka dua lagu dari One Republic. First dari album Waking Up, lagu Marching On. Music diorang ni memang brilliant. Lirik lagu ni pun brilliant. It tries to provide us with new hope,suruh kita bangun,mara ke hadapan (tau,cliche).Music dan lirik lagu ni memang selari, a perfect match. Bersemangat selepas dengar lagu ni.

Then satu lagi lagu yang I suka lagu Good Life. Music nya, WOW.Memang sesuai dengan tajuk, plus lyrics yang unik..maybe I suka sebab I suka lyrics yang more to 'physical' instead of bahasa-bahsa bunga ini.Direct sikit and sound realistic.tak percaya? baca lyrics ni:

i kenal this person dah lama.dah 3 tahun.dah lama tak chat this person.tiba-tiba dia tegur kat chatroom.borak-borak for few days,everything went smoothly,until one day kitorang cakap pasal one topic,yang i was totally disagreed with,kitorang terus tak chat selepas itu (bukan gaduh pun).i online,you online,tapi senyap saja.well,kita kan dah lama tak chat,i almost forget about you,tiba-tiba you tegur, you dragged me to remember you, and now i tak boleh keluar! i'm stuck! i bukan kisah pun if we have different opinion tapi tak perlu lah sampai tak tegur langsung.apa salah nya?i tak marah you,you tak marah i,kan.we can still be friend,kan.tak perlu cakap pasal topic itu lagi,semua settle.i never find our relationship is disturbing,so why not continue?

Penang Island trip

It was a random idea from a friend, inviting us to Penang Island, his hometown once we forwarded our crave for a beach holiday with a foreign friend who’s leaving Malaysia soon. As soon as he uttered his invitation, my eyes open so wide its impliedly said “You’ve read my mind”.


I was rather excited when we were about to leave. Whats more terrific is that we travelled by train, which I long left since I was a child. Frankly writing, I had only a one time experienced travelling by train, before this trip. It cost us RM 34 from Kuala Lumpur Sentral to Butterworth. We left around 10 pm.On the train I forced myself not to sleep as I wanted to enjoy every second moment of the ride before we reach Butterworth station. It was a night ride, so the views were only pitch dark outside but sometimes the train stops in town stations. I remembered watching Ipoh station as the most advanced of them all. The building was white with an ancient architecture, the Moghul architecture with the influence of Islamic dome mingled together. The platform was neat and modern. After a few miles of the Ipoh station, I remembered watching a fascinating view of a town, where it was like situated in a bowl, with many lights here and there. It literally like you dig a land like a bowl shape and built a town. It was amazing although sometimes my ‘sightseeing’ was interrupted by smokers in every 10 minutes. But it wont affect me to enjoy the ride. I brought an ipod mp3 player to help me to survive with my battle against sleep. The Taiping station was on renovation so I barely see the idea of the description of the town.

We reached the Butterworth station at 6 am. It was still dark. We walked to the jetty nearby to get us to Georgetown which is the island town. The ferry ride cost us around RM 1.20 per person. Of course the charge will be different if we take our cars with us. We reached Georgetown around 7 am and the friend I told earlier fetch us by two cars and took us to Taman Tun Sardon for breakfast. I had roti jala, which was too much but delicious, and we had kuih called Serabai (which means ‘messy’ in English, which we didn’t agree so). This is my first time,too. It was circle-shaped kuih, white in colour, soft, and tasted as if it had soda in it. If you had tasted an Indian ‘Apom’, its similar to it. Serabai comes with sweet kuah (but its texture is more like jam). It was delicious.

We checked in our apartment in Vistana Hotel, situated in Bukit Jambul which is RM 150 per night, which is cheap indeed if shared with 6 persons. We were very satisfied with our apartment. It was neat and convenient. It got 3 rooms with king-size bed, queen-size bed and single bed respectively and of course it comes with kitchen too. We had the view of the town and Pulau Jerejak too. The apartment is near to convenient store, food court and restaurants. Since our trips were always full, we didn’t have a chance to enjoy their facilities such as swimming pool and gymnasium, but it was worth to be missed.

Next, we were taken to Padang Brown for Chelor-chelor. It is a seafood steamboat meal, one of the famous Penang meal. It cost about RM 1 per stick which are usually consist of crabstick, fishballs, etc. and we eat it with a hot sauce. Komtar building, a famous Penang ancient landmark can be viewed from our parking spot. Next stop, Masjid Terapung in Kapitan Keling for prayer. The mosque is still new but the place had been dried up so it seemed not much ‘terapung’.

We carried on with our trip to the night market in Batu Ferringhi. It is near beach and the stalls were along the road for a number of miles. We can find plenty of stuff with cheap price here like pirated CDs series, pirated handbags, souvenirs, shirts, beach dress, lamps, paintings, accessories etc. We had our dinner at the Nasi Kandar Beratur which is so true because there was a constant line of customers queuing for the meal (beratur = queue). It comes with rice and different types of lauk-pauk, I took the squid curry. You’ll like it if you love curry which is rich with spices. It is satisfying. It opens from 10 pm. We even bumped into a Malaysian living legend, a singer,Sheila Majid.

Then, we went to Fort Cornwallis, a place where the Penang Island first started by Francis Light. We took pictures near the cannonballs. Then we made another stop to take some pictures with Penang Bridge as a background. But we were slightly disappointed as the bridge lights were already switched off at 12 am so it cannot be seen in the pictures.

Second day, we had our brunch at the Nasi Melayu restaurant. Then we went to Botanical Garden and travelled around it by tram. We had ice-cream and watched monkeys fooling around. Next, we were taken to go around the island and we stopped at the beach at Batu Ferringhi. We walked around the beach and some of my friends took a horseback ride, RM 20. Then we took a 30-minutes boat ride around the island which cost us RM 100. Just after a few minutes ride, we were hit by heavy rain but we enjoyed it. I like it when the wind blows as a result from the speed movement of the boat and when the boat hit the ocean causing me to bounce a little.

Then we ate Laksa Penang in Balik Pulau and pisang goreng (fried banana) and ubi keledek goreng (fried yam) for dessert. Then we went to the area of Kepala Batas airport and took pictures of an airplane flew above us. We had Mee Udang for dinner and a friend of mind bought the famous Penang Kuew Teow at the Lis Restaurant (if I am not mistaken) for supper. It was heavenly delicious. I never taste this real good kuew teow before.

On the last day, we had our breakfast at the nearby restaurant, I ate roti canai. Then we went to a place where we can get pickled fruits, another famous Penang food, or rather, snacks. Then we went to Chowrasta market, the place to get Penang souvenirs. Last stop, the restaurant in Gurney Drive for pasembor (yes, another well-known Penang food) as our lunch and set off to Butterworth by cars so that we can pass Penang Bridge this time instead of ferry ride.

Our train were delayed we were a bit worried as we will reached Kuala Lumpur by midnight. I also remembered in the train ride we passed the area of Bukit Merah where the train rail was along a narrow land where lake is around us. It was amazing. I was so surprised that not only me, but even my friends had not heard about the lake journey from anyone else before. However lucky us the day-train was the express train so we reached around 10 pm.

It was one of the great times I spent with my new found close friends. We are looking forward for more to come. I was so satisfied with the journey since it went so well although it was a very last minutes plan. This is considered a farewell trip with our foreign friend. However, we said “See you again” instead of “Goodbye”. This, in fact is basically true because later we heard she’s planning to come again to Malaysia for durian!
